GLBL 496: Global Experience Practicum
SUMMER SESSION I, 4 WK-ONLINE
FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO GRADUATE FALL 2022/SPRING 2023 AND HAVE NOT YET GONE ABROAD; This course meets the Global Studies Global Experience/Study Abroad requirement and is taught through an experiential learning framework, the goal of which is to enhance global competence skills and the provision of knowledge and experience in advocacy work in a global-local community setting.
NOTE: If you are not sure what your plans are for going abroad just yet, you can take this course AND study abroad at a later date, this course will also serve as an UL GLBL Tier III elective!
Tier II and Tier III Course Constraints
Of the 9 courses required of Tier II and Tier III (at least 2 globalization courses and up to 7 Tier III electives) selected by each student: (a) no more than 4 may be from the same department, and (b) at least 3 must be upper level.
