Fall Internship Opportunity: U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland is seeking college interns (non-law student volunteers) for their unpaid Fall Internship Program, which runs from September - December 2025 (with the possibility of extension up to three additional months).

There are openings in the Civil and Criminal Divisions.

Intern Assignments in the Civil Division may include:
- Clerical support
- Summarizing transcripts
- Document and evidence review
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Observing court proceedings, meetings, and depositions
- Assisting with trail preparation and case organization.

Intern assignments in the Criminal Division may Include:
- Assisting with administrative and case support tasks.
- Attending and observing court proceedings and trials.
- Assisting in trial preparation.
- Preparing materials for investigative interviews and meetings.
- Shadowing AUSAs and participating in office activities.
- Supporting paralegals and legal assistants in ongoing criminal matters
